Sponsor a Horse from our Healing Herd
Each one of the horses that live on Schön Frieden Farm are safe, kind and have their own stories. Sponsors provide all the needs of "their" horse. Sponsors provide hay, feed, hoof care, dental care, supplements, de-worming, vet and upkeep of their horse with their sponsorship. They also provide any specialty care or equipment needed for their horse, guaranteeing they receive individualized care.
The horses and animals at Wildfire Dreams are in full-time service to the community, helping children, teens, and women find peace and joy again. They deserve the very best we can give them. You can help even if you are unable to be here at the farm involved in daily chores and upkeep. Your sponsorship keeps these horses at the sanctuary where they continue to foster transformational healing for all who visit Wildfire Dreams.

Ceasar
DOB July 5, 2007
Caesar is a mighty miniature horse! This little guy is full of character, will, and an intelligence that matches any larger horse. He just might be the smartest horse we've ever met! Caesar has a wonderful way of calling out his clients, reminding them of their own inner strength when they may have lost it along the way. He has a gift of igniting a person's positive intentions and focus. Caesar isn't interested in the mushy stuff. He prefers to be honored and respected as a valuable member of the herd. No kisses for him. He wants your communication to be clear, honest, and if it's not, he tends to call a person out very quickly. Caesar pays attention to every nuance and seems to know exactly what is needed in every situation whether it be laughter, creating resilience and determination, or pure joy. He also is harness broken and completely head over hooves in love with Lily. In his eyes, she is the bees knees.

Tiger Lily
DOB March 25, 2007
Lily is a registered Paso Fino mare with extraordinary nurturing qualities. She is the glue of our herd. Lily found her way to us when her original owner, who had her and her mother for ten years decided he didn't want Lily after she got injured. I remember meeting Lily and her saying she wanted to know where her mother was. I hadn't known that it was the first time in her life she was living without her mother. Lily has been a transformational partner for many of our clients who have trouble with their own parental bonds. She is a quiet, sensitive horse that has a no nonsense approach to working with humans. She's drawn to our youngest clients and those that have holes in their upbringing. I always find it fascinating how she chooses her clients wisely, not very often, but perfectly matched for what that particular client needs.

Magic
DOB April 22, 2003
Magic is truly a gifted individual that defies what most people know of horses. He came to the founder as a recently gelded stallion, sick with shipping fever, anemia, and completely in shock with his new surroundings. He was a stallion for 13 years of his life, being used for his genetics, conformation, and beautiful looks. Then it all ended abruptly. This massive change landed him into the open arms of our founder who nursed him back to health. This boy may have experienced a rough chapter, but landed in a soft space. There is no doubt that Magic knows what he is doing with clients. His responses to each individual in such obvious communication is uncanny. Magic is our number one coaching horse because he loves healing humans.

Nova
DOB Unknown
Nova, our special girl came to us after an unfortunate experience where her pasture mate passed away and Nova lost her mind. She became too much for her owner. Sadly, she didn't have enough training to understand so many things. She also didn't have the added benefit of growing up as a horse, adding to her deficits in education. As a nurse mare foal, she was raised by humans, without a mother. All the lessons about non-verbal communication, reading another horse, and everything about being a horse were absent from her birth. Nova came to us very serendipitously. It was like she just landed here because she was meant to be here. She has shown us all how life's challenges can truly have a silver lining. Nova's special gift is grounding humans to the earth, helping them get into their bodies once again and feel. We couldn't be more blessed to have this little horse in our program.

Raven
DOB May 13, 2022
The fairytale.... Raven isn't real - that is what most people say when they meet her. She is from another world entirely. One where horses operate on an ethereal level of communication that leaves mere humans stunned. She moves like a ballerina, and yet, she has the quiet attitude of an old work horse. At any early age, she was stand offish, not at all interested in humans, and nicknamed, "Nuttella" because most people that met her thought she was nuts. Another serendipitous encounter connects her with our founder. One video of a shy filly with two other foals caught Carolyne's eye. This girl was curious, smart, but her true colors weren't able to shine. Miliana came to Wildfire Dreams just two years ago. She is the light of the farm - and as her name suggests, Raven is a guide through shadow and change. She invites us to trust our intuition, and a reminder to embrace endings and beginnings. Raven continues to grow and lighten as she ages. When she is finished, she will be as white as snow.

Javier
DOB May 27, 2021
The dream.... Javier Sol is the only foal to be born on our farm to date. His sire carefully scrutinized by our founder as one that would have a calm and kind disposition with the fire that distinguishes a Paso Fino from other breeds of horse. Lightning in a bottle is how one might describe these incredibly sensitive horses. Javier goes beyond lightning... he is truly the sun, bringing joy, laughter, and mischievousness to the farm. He is full of himself, and the most brave horse I have ever met. He is smart without ego, overflowing with kindness and loves exploring. Every day is a new day to explore for Javi. He reminds us that life is to enjoyed fully without doubts, worries, or limitations. He is a gift to everyone who meets him. Especially the girls!

Jasper
DOB May 2024
Jasper and his brother Zen were rescued as feral, older kittens from a neighbor in town that didn't know what to do with them once he trapped him. As the universe would have it, our founder took the call and attempted rehabilitating these two beauties during the winter of 2025. Fast forward after getting their vaccines, and neutering both of them, Jasper was the one who decided to stick around. He has become a loving barn cat who has the run of the farm. He enjoys company when you're quiet and truly enjoys attention. His big change happened when the two kittens arrived and he was able to see that human attention is exactly what he yearned for. All three of our cats keep rodents and pests out of the barn and purr love into the laps of clients and visitors alike.

Aspen & Rumi
DOB April 7, 2025
These two fur balls are the sweetest barn cats you will ever meet. Full of youthful energy, endless purring and a desire to love and be loved, Aspen and Rumi fill our barn with activity. Whether its racing across the hay mound through the aisles, or lounging on someone's lap, these two are the best rescues ever. Coming from the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, our very special cuddly cats are aptly named. Every visitor falls in love with these two. They have done an incredible job of adjusting to barn life with their cozy beds, lambswool blankets, and all the love an attention one could ask for. Thankfully, they are both becoming excellent hunters like Jasper. We value their ability to keep rodents away although we could do without the presents at the door, but you can't have everything. Rumi and Aspen are the best!
